Getting started

How long does setup take?

The initial setup takes a few minutes. You add a CNAME and a small script to your site, connect your ad platform, and that's it.

We have step-by-step documentation covering the most common stacks, and you can reach us directly if you hit a wall.

Do I need to install code on my site?

Yes, but it is quick. On WordPress we have a plugin. On Shopify, GoHighLevel, and ClickFunnels we have a ready-made integration. For custom sites we have a small script you drop in. That's it.

Full setup steps for each platform are in the docs.

What ad platforms do you integrate with?

TrueMetriks currently integrates with Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, and TikTok Ads. These cover the three platforms where tracking degradation has the biggest real-world impact on ROAS accuracy. Each integration uses the platform's official Conversions API (CAPI) to send server-side signals with first-party data, which significantly improves match rates compared to browser-only pixel tracking.

Additional integrations - including Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn - are on the roadmap. If a specific platform is critical for your setup, reach out and let us know.

Tracking + attribution

Will TrueMetriks work with iOS 14+ tracking restrictions?

Yes. iOS 14+ restrictions specifically affect browser-level and app-level tracking that relies on third-party cookies and device identifiers like IDFA. TrueMetriks sidesteps most of these restrictions by capturing signals server-side before they can be blocked.

When a purchase happens on your site, your server sends the conversion event directly to the ad platform's Conversions API using first-party customer data (hashed email, phone, etc.) that you already have from the transaction. This path does not go through the iOS WebKit or Safari privacy filters at all. You will see higher match rates and more complete conversion data compared to browser-pixel-only tracking.

What attribution models do you support?

TrueMetriks shows you the complete picture. You get first-touch (the ad that started the journey), last-touch (the ad that closed it), and any-touch (every ad that played a part along the way).

Seeing all three side by side tells you which campaigns open the door and which ones close the sale, so you can credit and scale them correctly.

How do you handle cross-device journeys?

Cross-device attribution is one of the harder problems in tracking. TrueMetriks uses a combination of first-party identifiers - specifically, hashed email addresses and phone numbers when available from account logins or checkout flows - to stitch sessions across devices.

If a user clicks an ad on their phone, browses on their laptop, and converts on their tablet, and they logged in or entered their email at some point, TrueMetriks can link those touchpoints using the hashed identifier. Sessions where no first-party ID is present fall back to last-click on a per-device basis. We are honest about this limitation: anonymous cross-device attribution without a login event is not reliably solvable with first-party data alone.

Privacy + compliance

Are you GDPR / CCPA compliant?

TrueMetriks is built with compliance-first architecture. Data is stored in your designated region, and all personally identifiable data (emails, phone numbers, IP addresses) is hashed before storage using SHA-256.

TrueMetriks is operated by Game Dev Pro LLC, a Wyoming LLC. We offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for customers who require one for GDPR purposes. For CCPA, the data TrueMetriks collects is first-party data that you as the site operator control - you are the data controller, we are the processor. We do not sell data. You can find our full privacy policy at truemetriks.com/privacy.

Do you sell my data or my visitors' data?

No. TrueMetriks does not sell, license, or share your data or your visitors' data with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes. The data your TrueMetriks instance collects belongs to you. We use it solely to provide the attribution service you signed up for.

We do not build audience segments from your visitors' behavior and we do not use your data to train models that benefit other customers. This is a fundamental architectural choice, not just a policy statement - each customer's data is isolated in their own dedicated key-value namespace and dataset.

Where is data stored?

The default storage region is US-East. EU-based storage is available for customers who need data residency within the European Union - reach out before signing up and we will configure your deployment accordingly.

Raw event logs are retained for 90 days by default. Aggregated attribution data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected] or using the data deletion page.

Pricing + plans

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. During the trial you have access to all features on the plan you select, with no artificial limits on event volume.

At the end of the 14 days you can subscribe to continue, or your account moves to a read-only state - your data is preserved for 30 additional days so you can export it before it is purged. If you need more time to evaluate, reach out and we can extend your trial.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. TrueMetriks is billed yearly with no long-term contracts, and you can cancel from your account settings at any time. Your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then it stops - no surprise renewal charges.

After cancellation, your data is available in read-only mode for 30 days, then it is permanently deleted. If you want to export your data before deletion, the export tool is available in account settings, or email [email protected] and we will help.

Can I move my subscription to a different domain?

No. Each subscription covers one root domain that you verify in your account, plus unlimited subdomains under it, and that domain is fixed for the life of the subscription. It cannot be changed, transferred, or reassigned to a different domain, and deleting your data does not free the subscription to be used elsewhere.

If you need to track a separate domain, that requires its own subscription. You can add as many subdomains as you like under your verified domain at no extra cost.
